    Default 306 GTi6 Seat care

Well I have caused a slight tear in the drivers seat, the leather is fine but the fabric is splitting near my back side. Was wondering if anyone new of a quick fix or has an upholesterer in Melbourne that they know of. Was thinking just a strong piece of tape to hold it so it doesnt get any worse.

    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

Paul (?) Blackman has done work for various AF Citroen owners.

If you are near Moorabbin Blackmans are a good choice. As well as new interiors they have a section specialising in repairs.

Edit - I see they have a few branches:

I don't think it's a shameless plug Stu, but what is the asking price and would it include installation as I have no idea how to put them in. Otherwise I will be looking at a patch job until I look to get the whole interior re-done.

I'm not sure how much a patch job is to be honest, but I would be happy to negotiate on the price of the seats if you were interested and I'd be happy to install them for you. Is your car is also a phase 2? If so it would be a straight forward swap with the airbag sensors and seatbelt pre-tensioners.

What sort of interior have you got? Is it the half leather half alcantara?

    Cheers,
    Stu

Yes it's half black leather and half black cloth, not the hideous design that the early cloth ones had. It's a 1999 model. Is that the same as yours. We are still dancing around the $$$ question too :-)

Just bought some gaffa tape, think it will have to do the job. Until $$$ gets better will have to do. Hoping one day to get a full leather set up.
