Default I've lost a part - can anyone help?

I've gone through my stuff again and again but cannot find a particular part of my front suspension.
The part in question is a bearing that looks kind of like a doughnut - I've never seen one like it - that clamps between the top suspension rubber and a metal hat. If this description doesn't make any sense I will post a picture of the one I have for the other side tonight.
Please PM me if you can help me out.

There are a couple of bits up there so you should either take a photo or jump on service box and give it the right part number and description so people know what you're after. Perhaps you could put this request as an ad in the parts wanted or for sale forum?

Yeah I'll try and get the PN at lunchtime. Cheers for the suggestion. There's only one bearing in the assembly though.

I know the part and I'm fairly sure you'll have to buy a whole new strut top assembly to get that bearing unless you can sort one second hand.

Sorry for the bad news. I'll have a look through my bits and see if I have one. I'm fairly sure I do.

Hey Chris, You're right I've already trodden that path: the best I could find was around $220 and 4 weeks wait or something because as you say it's a whole top assembly. If you have a second-handy you have a new best friend!

I'm confident that I do. I'll let you know either way. Email me your postal address and I'll slip it in the mail tomorrow if I have what you're after ( [email protected] )

I have heaps of spares if Chris can't supply. I'll take a pic and you can select from the line up.

The whole kit is 120-something from EAI delivered to your door overnight (mind postage costs)

You'll need to have a chat with Peter about sorting one out man......

I had another solid go when I got home and I can't get the strut apart to get the bearing out.

    Sorry dude.

Peter did say he had a fair spares kicking around.
