    Default unidenified part , can anybody help.

    I was cleaning out the storage over the beak and found a few boxes of new Peugeot dash parts , most of them I know what they are but this one has me stuffed.
    Thge part number is 611 367.
    It appears to be a tacho and I think it may be from a 505 Series II .
    Any other sugestions.

    It is surplus to my requirements so if you know what it is and you want one , and you know you do, just call me.

    Andy

    Is "the machine" or "the clock" (wrong said, but understood for most) of the tachometer (new dash, the big one, i think over 85)

    Looks like a rev counter out of the 85 GTI or later.
    I have an old dash apart in a box somewhere and will have a look.

    according to the US/Canada parts microfiche (plate 61 b03), that is:

    tachometer: xn6, zdjl with buzzer ( ->mod 86)

    of course, there may be other applications for this part, that's the US/Canadian application...over here, 1986 was the first year of the series II cars.

    I should have said SII GTI, (Built in 1985 released in Aust 86).
    I had an OCT 85 build SII, JRA plate 86.

    I stand to be corrected on these dates....
