    Default Shock tower problem 205

I have replaced a few parts in the shock tower that I though would combat this problem but it seems to be getting worse.

    Items replaced
Springs, bump stops and rubber strut support bearing

I am still ending up with a gap as seen in the photo. I jack up the front of the car and the gap closes. This happened with standard springs and Eibachs (25mm lower)

    Any thoughts?

That's the way it should be, the strut top rubber wouldn't be doing its job otherwise.

And me..... just redid total suspension on my GTI using all genuine Peugeot parts and it looks exactly the same.
