    Default Rough!!

I dont know much/anything about the 407 2.2 litre engines, but it could be an ignition coil. This sounds like the same sort of issue with the V6 motors

have you had a decent run at 100km on the highway or freeway recently? Lots of things are suggested as bringing on the depollution fault message including only driving short trips.

At this point, you should pull over, turn the motor off, turn it on again and wonder what that was all about.

If this doesn't fix the message - then yes, a decent run (the classic Italian tune up) is the next course of action, I would think.

If I were you I would reset the ecu and take it for a good highway trip and give it a few thrashings.

In the Pug and Cit cars, the only way to reset the ECU is to have it done by the factory.

My advice, find somewhere that will check the faul;t codes for you.

No expert here but my educated guess will be a fuelk pressure regulator fault.

Find a desserted or quiet piece of road. Accelerate from standstill, slowly or just normally, DO NOT stick the boot in. How'd it go? Normal? If so, try the same thing with a fair bit of wellie in it. If it goes hard for 1/2 sec or so, then misses and farts about, likely regulator or pump isseus.

Like I said, I am no expert but recent issues in 2 cars both with regulator issues indicates to me, check this first. Also, check wiring to all sensors if you are able.

407 2.2L coil packs are very common.
