    Default Peugeot 2008

The forthcoming 2008 crossover with optional 4WD will be another rice bowl in disguise with a Peugeot badge. Like the 4008 the 2008 will be based on the Mitsubishi ASX.

The design is based on the HR1 so at least the body shape / cosmetics look good.

And here is where its gets confusing. The 4008 will be a bit bigger than the 2008 but the 3008 is bigger than both

The 2008 will be offered as a Hybrid 4WD and have a choice of of Petrol 95~175 HP and Diesel 92~140 HP engines. No indication as yet of price and if it is going to join the 4008 in the Australian market.

New facelift coming up for the 3008 will have a similar nose to the 2008 / 4008.

It does not seem to be too significant and the changes are mainly at the front end with a slightly restyled bumper / nose and new lights with daytime running led lights similar to the new 308 [ the lights that is.. ]. [ See picture below where tape is hiding some angles and the bonet shut line ]
I wouldn't worry too much as everything else will probably be the same, maybe a couple of new colour options. The new Hybrid 3008 will have a different grille but not sure if that will end up on all the 3008's. There is no official date for the new facelift but I am guessing somewhere from the middle to the end of 2012. The 3008 has been in production since early 2009 and its a big hit for Peugeot so I don't think they'll be upsetting the apple cart too much.
