Nah to hard to register, unless we wait 25 years and put it on club plates.

I saw it at the Brighton race trials while I still lived in the UK. Sounded great. I think I have got it on video somewhere so I will see if I can find the clip and upload it...

Did not sound like an F1 enigne at the time although the 3.5L was the old size for the F1 1989~ NA Spec. The old Renault V6 F1 Turbo got past 1400 BHP [ 1044Kw ] at 4 bar boost on the dyno a number of times prior to the FIA 1987 "Pop Off" valves.

The 3.5L NA F1 engines were replaced by the NA 3.0L in late 1994. So I would be surprised if they are still running an old F1 blueprint engine.

Its up for 325,000 which is around $520,000 at the current rate of exchange

The little BMW 4-cyl from the turbo era made 1400hp in qualifing trim... at 5.5bar of boost, on a factory, production block! crazy stuff.

just trying to work out what that is !

so someone has dropped an outer shell of a ?607 or something onto the modded running gear of an f1 car?

woulda been cooler if they had the original interior :p

the rumour was that they were rusted M10 blocks that have had then been cleaned as that somehow made them stronger...
