Default 306 XSI Aux Belt Routing

    Hi all,

I have finally fitted the new alternator (which required the intake manifold to be removed/moved aside), the problem now though is tht I am not having any luck with the Aux Belt. When I seem to have the routing correct it looks like it will never go back on (the tensioner dosn,t seem to give enough any appreciable slack.

I have a Haynes manual (fire starter P O S) but it is of no use. Does anyone have a diagram or pictures that may help me please ?

The car has pwr str, aircon.

    Thanks Two Dogs

Crap drawing but this is how it goes. Also the tensioner needs to be rotated towards the rear and pinned so you can feed in the belt.

Awesome, gave it a go. Done in ten minutes. I was dicking with that thing for hours trying to figure out the routing, all done working like a treat.

Jo, the belt is 3mm shorter but all I could get here. So thanks all !!
