Default Perth exhaust shops - recommendations?

Has anyone had any experience with, or can recommend, a decent exhaust shop in the Perth area that may have some knowledge on how to deal with my GTi 180?

I have a small hole forming behind the muffler that I need to get fixed, but while I'm at it I'd like some advice on the "sports muffler" that the previous owner has fitted.

I was just reading in this thread here http://www.aussiefrogs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21799 how an aftermarket exhaust actually ended up reducing power on a GTi6, and I'd hate to think the same may have happened to my 180 for the sake of a few extra decibels.

That thread also mentions a place in Perth "that make replacement mufflers for euro cars". Has anyone heard of this place? I'd get an OEM style muffler put back on if that was best for her but would rather not pay Peugeot prices...

Hey abe, have used custom exhausts specialists in osborne park, they are nice people and do a good job, as far as i know they do all the custom exhausts for audi in ozzy park and maybe barbagallo's, they have always done a good job for me. Maybe pop in to see them. Their workshop is old and my gti breaks a dashboard everytime i drive throu the pothole infested driveway lol but they have always surprised me with outstanding workmanship and exhaust design lol

+ 1 for them. I used them a few years ago now and they did an excellent job on my Nissan Pulsar van.

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

By happy coincidence I'd actually been in to see these guys a couple of days ago, before I rechecked this thread!

They're close by and I'd driven past last time I went to Euromotive so I'd thought I'd give them a go. I agree they were nice folks and seemed like they knew their stuff; deltone they did mention they'd done 205s before

Car is booked in for Tuesday so it's great to hear from other satisfied customers.

I'll let you know how it goes.

    Cheers

Haha yea that would be my 205, althou i am preety sure they have done others as well, i will be taking mine back there soon.

Let us know how the exhaust turns out

I remember when i put the T16 n the 205, i drove it over to them to fit the exhaust, therefore rocked up there with the bare downpipe from the turbo firing in the breeze under the car.... They were like.. "you idiot" lol

Ps. My shop is a short distance away...
