    Default Tidy up - XU10

    So,

Given that I have a bit of spare time coming up - what's the best way to clean the AFM and PCV. The car has done 190k - and from my understanding, the AFM has never been done before. PCV I did a couple of months back - but I want to give it a more thorough going over!

With the idle stepper motor - when you remove it, is there a rubber O-Ring which needs replacing? If so, is it possible to purchase a new one, or should I just re-sit it with the existing rubber. Thing is, I don't want it to perish, given the unknown condition it is in...

    Cheers AF'ers.

Don't think you have an AFM Joel. Keep looking though...

Just give the others a squirt with degreaser and dry off. I haven't seen any stepper motors with replaceable o-rings either. Just get stuck in - you can't go too wrong.
