    505 Reversing lights

Does anybody know if getting to and replacing the revesing lamp microswitch on a 3A 505 is easy?
It's not that i'm picky, but it's hard to get a roadworthy without them. The local pug mechanic can do it, but i really would like to save some cash and do it myself

    Thanks all...

    Jason,

The switch should be just a simple plug which is screwed into the side of the gearbox. It should be the only thing sticking out of the side of the gearbox which has 2 wires going to it. It should be something like a 17mm, 19mm or a 21mm spanner size to unscrew it from the transmission.
