    Default 505 roof racks locally

prorack make a fitting which will do for a 505 wagon-I obtained mine from Autobarn for a reasonable price--it only needed a litle taking off the adjusting screws as there is not much clearance

How much is reasonable? I need a set for my 505 sedan to take a bike carrier. I assume the wagon/sedan would be interchangeable?

Not quite - the wagons have rails along the length of the roof, that's what the bars in this thread are designed to fit. Sedan ones need the older style roofracks that clamp onto the roof drain channel. You can usually find a set at a garage sale near you!

    Default Septing

405s dont have gutters . in the sedan theres threaded holes behind the door seal rubbers that the roof bars attach to ,wagons have rails that go front to rear ,which iv found to be of cosmetic use only unless fitted with cross bars ,PUGS

Thanks. I was hoping it was that simple.

I'll keep an eye out for some.
