    Default Transport Companies

    Hi all

Before the crash there was a thread that listed transport companies and one in particular had very reasonable rates.

Does anyone remember which one it was?

depends on what you are transporting and where from and where to it is going

transport is a very broad subject and the rates depending upon certain things are just as broad

Larger odd sized items - Like wheel rims, roof racks, tow bars. The stuff that Australia post won't accept.

Ah that's a no brainer IMO - i recently got 5 306 wheels and tyres from melb to sunshine coast (depot -> depot = 50% discount) for ...

$38.23 including GST - i was gobsmacked, i felt guilty when the guy helped me load them into the car !

E-go is the one I used to get 4x wheels & tyres from Perth to Melbourne, door to depot. I think it was $66 plus a bit more for insurance, quite a few bucks under $100 in total, I forget exactly. Other quotes I had for the same job were $300-500.
