    Default Fuel sender craziness

Changed my fuel sender today for a second hand one. Now this one decides fuel level by ground level, Uphill were full down hill we are only half full ?? Any advice other than buying a brand new unit ???

The arrow on the unit is facing in the same direction as the one I removed.

Ah who needs an accurate fuel gauge anyway, makes the trip more interesting !

Mine seems to play up as well, especially when under a quarter going around corners fast. Can go from quarter to under 0, however give it a few minutes on flat ground and she is all back to normal.

Where is the sender located? In the tank?

    Cheers

    Dom

Remove the rear seat and the pump is behind the driver and the sender is next to it but seperate. My old one got to 1/4 left which mean it was empty. This one goes bourko leaving the driveway, ahhhhhhhh
