Default 2005 Peugeot 307 HDi Timing Belt Change

    Hi everyone,

I need to change the timing belt on my 2005 307 HDi hatch (1.6 litre turbo diesel). I've been given a quote of $400 to change it (and I'm supplying the timing belt) - is this good?

I'm no longer in Canberra and can't get Bill McNamee to do it and I really don't think I can spare the time myself.

    Thanks,

    Ewan

for your peace of mind knowing its done properly (or if not, they'll cover it) in your situation i would personally say thats a good price. be careful though, when people start supplying their own parts and something goes wrong, where does the finger get pointed? a timing belts what, 80 bucks or something? haha its been a while, used to getting cheaper-than-trade prices myself anyway
