    Rear Window Seal

I have finally tracked a water leak in my 205 GTi to the rear window seal, after sealing the rear hatch lock with silicone. I was wondering if anyone else has replaced the rear window seal, who would be best to do this and an approximate cost for the repair.

    Thanx in advance

Walrus (because I seem to be deep in water)

    Walrus,
You might want to apply some fish oil before the seal goes back in too.
Mine had the makings of a rust bubble in the paint just where the join in the seal is.

...and make sure you use silicon with a neutral cure, otherwise it gets very acidic and takes paint off, causes rust etc.
