    Default 306 key?

    Hi All,

Im in need of a extra key for the 306. Its a s16 N3. Its a 95 and doesn't have remote locking, just a plain key.

Did pop into a small key place at a shopping center but they can't supply the key. Something to do with the little hole in the key?

Where is the best place to get a key? Just from ebay and then get a locksmith to cut it? Something like this.. or is there a better way?

    In Sydney if it matters.

    Cheers!

    Default Go eBay

DO get the blank from Ebay. Peugeot if they had one would charge far too much.

I would suggest getting a couple of spares.

Yes the right keys have a hole in the end, so your average key cutter won't carry them. Some locksmiths might, but eBay is cheaper, as they are common in the UK.

Any keycutter worth his salt should be able to order the correct blank for you. Tell him to consult the Silca Automotive book. If you have no success phone Locksmiths' Supply Company and ask them who would stock the blank in your area. I used to cut keys in my business in Melbourne and I found all the non-transponder blanks easy to obtain and they were cheap.

I had a couple of keys cut for my old S16,with no problems at all.
The shopping centre type wouldn't know if their bum is on fire.
Last one I had cut was in Dee Why. A little engraving shop near video store.
More than likely,it's not there anymore. Probably a block of flats!!

    Good luck
