    Default 307 aircon fan failure

A colleague has a 307 sedan. No blowers on the aircon - great in this weather. Her dealer charged $200 to say that it needs a new condensor(?) which will set her back $1k. I see on the pommy forum that wiring problems are not uncommon in the heter fans and wonder if anyone knows if this is likely here?

I had that part fail in mine while it was still under warranty.

The part they showed me actually appeared to be an electrically operated heater element which gets the heater up and running before the radiator gets a head of steam up (so to speak).

As it is the fan just won't work - some good bypassing should solve that problem but finding someone to do the job could be a challenge.

The alternative is to order one from the UK and get your dealer to fit it. It will be way cheaper than the oem part.

    That sounds expensive to me.
