    Default 307Hdi Brake Pads

Anyone changed their own recently? The 307 was serviced the other day, got about 5000km left on the front pads - The dealer wanted about $360 to change them - I felt like telling him that If I wanted to be F%*&ed I'd take my $360 to Grey St & have change left for the pads afterwards.......

So...... Looking at Pads...... Has anyone tried the EBC pads (various types), or is it worth giving EAI a call for some genuine ones?

There are some EBC pads advertised on Ebay for 2004 2.0lt Hdi cars, but I'm not sure these would be the same as my 2008 build T6........

Dead easy to do, front and rear.
Just have a good read of the manual for the rears.
You have to turn and compress at the same time for the rears. (PM me if you want to chat).
    The fronts are a P.O.P.

Just make sure the rotors are OK, (thickness and lip), (they are easy to do as well - Honeywell rotors are fine and around $250 for the rears).

Cheers Gamma - just looking to do the front pads at the moment, I can't imagine they're any different to any other brake pad/caliper I've done in the past?

Really just looking for pad recommendations.... At least equivalent of OEM, or slightly better..... Low dust compounds ideally..... Anyone used any of the EBC ones?

Have EBC ultimates on both the Citroen and the Scenic. Scenic are due for a change soon as it's been about 3 years since new discs/pads. Xsara still going well after 2 years and has probably 2 left.
Good stopping, better than OEM I think.
Next front set are to be RDA extreme...they are between EBC ultimate and Greenstuff.
