Default Help need Auto Elec in Melbourne

    Hi

new to the forum, I recently acquired a Peugeot 406 coupe.

The radio, which is original works on FM, but not AM. I would like to listen to AM.

It receives one station very faintly with a lot of static.

I think it is the aerial; I need some advice on how to test this, or a good auto elec; in the eastern suburbs.

How eastern do you want? McDonalds Auto Electrics in Ferntree Gully has worked on my family's cars for 30 years, including Pugs. Old fashion service and very good.

Try the mob in Tooronga Road Hawthorn East on the City side, about 2 km before Riversdale Road.

They have been Peugeot and aircon specialists for quite a time.

They may have an autolec on staff.

I have not specifically used them because I do my own electrical work.

Probably worth a visit and a check out. They job you are seeking is pretty basic and only a basic knowledge of electronics is needed.
