The last of the mystery GTi electronic problems...


Car had broken down, local mechanic bridged the fuel pump wire (75) from the fuse direct into the return wire (75A).

Car now has an intermittent starting problem - starts first time every time, but if it is warm will often not start unless the wire is bridged in (makes more sense with a photo...)

Is it common for the PCB on the fuse box to fail? It seems possible the PCB trace between the fuse and the plug on the fuse box is faulty. Car as a new fuel pump relay and runs fine, apart from the starting issue.
