Default Check out these big-dollar 504s for sale

Two high-priced 504s on Carsales at the moment. I like to see this, it makes me feel that mine is worth $10k.

I think that diesel you alert us to was for sale a couple of months ago on Carsales for just over $5000. It was in Mildura and was being sold without a RWC. I notice this car is wearing plates which indicate it's very recently been re-registered.

    Cheers

You think so? Maybe not in Australia. It seems that high-priced 504s don't sell easily. And I'm not sure if a highly modified car like mine would appeal to many potential buyers. Actually it seems the French don't understand cars like mine. I'm a member of a French 504 forum, and all the members there have bog standard cars. Upgrading a 504, even with bolt-on Peugeot bits, from 505s and 604s, is just not the done thing.

So froggers, what's my 504 worth? With a GTI engine, 5 speed, power steering, uprated suspension, remote locking, cruise, etc etc.

A lot more than my 350000km 1978 model with Aunger classic mags, trapozoidal biode lights and 30 years of yet-to- be fixed stone chips.! Neil

Don't worry about the kays. That 504 featured in Unique Cars has almost 500,000 on it and it's a concourse winner in PCCV.

Mine will never win a concourse but it is quite nice for its age nevertheless.Nice enough that I am loathe to change it too much because it drives so well. Neil
