Default Who Was It That Needed A Carbon Brush for a XN1 Fan

Just before the crash someone was enquiring about the availability of the carbon brushes to engage the electro-magnetic fan on an XN1 engine.

I'm just wondering how they went in their search. Whether they were able to source one from EAI et al?

If not and if they are desperate I can give them mine as it's now surplus to requirements and it would be a shame for it to be sitting here unneeded while someone else was pulling their hair out trying to find one.

So if they are still around, and if they still need it, let me know.

    Found it!

It was neil strugnell who needed one. Has he made it back into the old and improved AF yet. A search of his name reveals nothing. Maybe he's now the 'Frogger formally known as.....'

If anyone is in contact with him, or if he's hanging around, please let me know.

    No worries Colin,

I'll see how neil went and if he no longer needs it, it's yours.

    No worries Neil,

I'll pull it out tomorrow and see how it looks. I'll let you know how it goes.

And they say humour is dead.
Started out with nothing, still got most of it left.
