Nice looking car, apart from the ugly wing mirrors and the poor design of the driving lights!
Lets hope the interior quality is a big improvement over the 206.

    God I hate those mirrors!

Why would you design mirrors like that??

Maybe designed as a result of wind tunnel testing?
Thats the only reason I can see. However, there is a trend now in new car design to go for huge mirrors.

    Evolutionary, not revolutionary.

It's a step in the right direction but the wing mirrors are total rubbish, as stated above. The rear also has a sagy bum look to it (yes this is engineering terminology). Overall the CUP shows potential but is it Turbo, when will peugeot re-grow their balls (that dropped off after the 205 seased production). Peugeot should be putting an all wheel drive turbo hatch on the market.

The rear end looks a bit awkward from some angles, and whats the go with the flattened off wheel arch treatment - particuarly the way the shape is elongated as it entres the rear bumper. It's different...maybe it'll grow on me.

BTW - Yes the mirrors are daft, but Puegeot has a habit of putting a secondary pillar/window channel on their front doors which not only makes them look a little fusy but also means the mirror has to mounted on the door instead of in the corner of the A pillar.

I know it's just a detail thing but it makes the car look messier than it needs to be. poor detailing seems to be a common theme on most PSA vehicles lately 307, 407, C4...

Or it could just be that they came straight from the C4 parts bin. Typical CitroŽn forcing their designs on everyone else.

Could the 207 Rcup be a possibility as a WRC re entry of some sorts?

To be honest - I still prefer the design of the 206, I dont think its dated much in the 7+ years its been on the market!
