    Default my new polished 15's

got my speedlines polished after tossing up weather to powdercoat them or what i went with polishing.http://www.aussiefrogs.com/forum/ima...ons/icon10.gif
the reason is that i think they look great and appear to look bigger when polished which is due to the reflections.
also if the get scratched of kerbed,i can get thet spot cleaned up and polished without having to match paint or having to paint the whole rim.
unfortunatly im now obssesed with keeping them sparkling ,so i better nick off and get out there with the autosol.
they cost anywhere between 80 and 120 bucks a rim depending on cost and a lot cheaper if you strip the paint off yourself.

not really a fan of overly polished wheels, but the job looks like it was done well. I'll be intrested to see how they suit the 205

    Baz,

    Very nice, extreem shine

This is very different and I should think it will make your car more noticable. Although you probs are doing it for your own satisfaction, I reckon it will make the 205 look fantastic.

Got any photo's of the whole package? Would be interested to see how it looks

    Well done mate, looks fantastic.

ok ill post some piccies of the whole car 2moro.
the reason i didnt take a whole piccy is due to the fact that im intending on lowering the car and with the lower profile tyres ,well lets just say 3 whole families of refugees could fit under there at the moment.
the gap looks BIG AND UGLY.
i wanted to wait for the lowering before posting piccies but if you really want to see them ill do it tommorrow.
and im also intending on getting the centre caps plastic chromed but its a dollar thing at the moment.
ill do higher quality bigger piccies as well

hey bazz, the rims are a massive visual improvement from those shitty rims you had on before. and the polished speedlines? i think they look fantastic.

but i dont think you have enough gti badges on your car

... perhaps for the centre cap, why not just stick gti badges on them, too?!

Does the extra GTi badges make the car go faster?
