Nos, I would love to. However the 1500 km drive that I need to make to get my car to bells line of rd is a bit of a downer, so I may have to pass this time

Actually I'll be up in Sydney on the weekend of 11th March. I have a friend up there (AF nickname: bad_karma) who's got a gti180. If it's not getting repaired for something or the other like it usually is I'll see if I can drag him out for a run somewhere. Let me know if you're free.
    Take the long way home....

Excuse me? Anyone can organise drive days. Please read the attached thread where I organised a trip that had from memory 10 people turn up. No club will organise a drive for you. Likewise with OZRenaultsport.com. Someone on that FORUM (not club) organised the drive you are now referring to.'

As for if you organised would I come? Well I live about 1200km from you, so that would be hard.

So, how about you organise one?

Nos - You are more than capable of organising a "meet". Really easy to do....

    Post a new thread in "SOCIAL EVENTS" Section;
    1) Time
    2) Date
    3) Location of meet
    4) Where you are going to drive
    5) Tell everyone to be sensible and fill up with fuel before they arrive

If you want a good turn out - do not restrict to JUST GTi's / GTi180's. This Forum is for all Froggies, not just 206's.........there is another site for this.

If no-one turns up, go home. If 20 cars turn up - go for a good drive.

SIMPLE AND ENJOY. Remember the "K.I.S.S." Principle.......

In all seriousness guys, obviously nos205gti is still mastering the bastard language that is English.

I don't know him and I don't know what country he comes from or what language he speaks, but he has been on this forum for quite some time and copped lots of flack (some possibly going over his head) from various members.

    nos205gti,
I admit your posts are sometimes hard to understand (much better than 6 months ago) but I personally comend you for atleast trying. It would obviously be far easier for you to socialise with people of your own culture and who speak your language.

    FWIW,
I seem to remember certain people on this forum recently criticising certain races for NOT trying to assimilate with other Australians...Here is someone who IS trying and we are constantly shooting him down in flames

Come on guy's, it's not funny from the outside looking in anymore, so I doubt it'd still be funny for him...there is a fine line between humour and racism...

    Well said Mistereno!

I have also noticed NOS tries very hard and I hope he misses a lot of the snide innuendo cast at him because of his learning what is actually a very difficult language to master. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for witty reparté and verbal jousting if done in good humour and with respect. It's very easy for all of us to take sneaky shots, how about we applaud the guy for trying and joining in (and having the sense to have a good car!)

Sounds fun. This Raki sounds similar to something my old Serbian neighbour drinks (and on occasions has invited/forced to share with him!)..it's called Rakia and it's made from grape vines..yes vines it's like 80% or so. Two shots is enough for me thank you very much.
