    Default 504 back firing

    James,
The reason why your Ti is back firing is because your atmospheric compensator needs to be adjusted so on a trailing throttle it won't allow fuel to be too rich/much to the injectors. If it is closed slightly it will cut the fuel sooner then no more bangs.

    Hi Steve,

Sorry it's sort of a running joke between another member here who has a similar phrase next to his 504. At the time my engine pipe was cracked the whole way around underneath the flange. I ended up finding an old bike frame that was the same diameter and cutting it into 2 small lengths to make a sleave to weld the two parts back together. It worked better than I could have hoped for. I always love those simple solutionís. Handy advice none the less, that I will remember for future reference, thanks!

The other Peugeot makes are worth a look as well. The purple 404 with the yellow interior, and the ridiculous 505 (barely recognisable) are definitely interesting.
