    Default 504/5 wheel balancer in ACT?

    Anyone know a shop that can balance non-hole 504/5 wheels in Canberra/Queanbeyan?

    (Alternatively, anyone got some 15 inch alloys they want to sell me? )

    Hi ,
    Woden Tyre and Exhaust are the only one's I know in the local area who either have (or bother to fit) the necessary adapters to their balancing machine.Melrose Autos (the local Peugeot dealers) don't do it in house and send all their cars there anyway.
    Cheers,

    Give Chris Mack at Tyrezone in Mitchell a call on 62411823. Chris has adapters for French car wheels and, as a bonus, is very capable and will give great personalised service. Excellent for tyre advice and wheel alignments, too. No, I'm not related - just a happy customer. While you're there, have a look at his Tatra V8.

    A Big thanks to this link................

    I just went saw this guy in Mitchell and he did a great job. Both wheels were out by around 55grams.................Anything more than 5grams, he said you can feel it straight away. The reason it was not as noticable in the GTi180 was due to the beefy suspension.

    So here is my story - It has taken me $50 to get this right also.............sad sad tale;

    1) Discount Tyre Service Philip NO
    2) " "" Braddon NO WAY
    3) Woden Tyre and Exhaust Woden NO - But will give them 8/10 for trying
    4) Tyrezone Mitchell YES.

    Chris just operates his own business, he is the only employee and everything is clean and neat. Dad, similar to "Don Simonetta's" in Brooky. Gave him $20 cash, no invoice. Will buy him 1/2 a case of beer.....

    He has got three old Czech Tatra's - 2 Trucks and 1 car. Even has this really old Skoda that looks like on of those Volvo 1800's..............

    Best of all - he drives a 405 and loves it!
