Sorry, haven't got a clue about the Ecosse offering.

I'm using a Griffiths QS. Had it for two years now - no probs.

    Jase,

Assuming you have a 206 (based on you looking for rear tail lights for one ) I'd have to recommend the Griffiths Quick Shift. The Ecosse one looks like a complete knock-off job of the tried and true Griffiths one, and the Griffiths one is 10 quid cheaper by the look of it.

I've fitted 4 Griffiths ones and they are pretty easy. There's no cutting, adjusting or anything else that can't be quickly restored to normal if required.
    Regards,

    Simon

I bought a rip off from ebay a few weeks ago. $60 delivered. ive got gti6 extractors and cos they like spagetti and take up a crap load of room the thing doesnt actually fit. Not happy. Im just gena get another selector shaft (from subframe too box) and modify that.
The gti or s16 actually had a adjustable shaft, i tried ordering one off the same chassis number i saw it on and a solid, non adjustable shaft came. No other options were offere on the peugeot database.
i speed up for round abouts, corners and chikanes

So does anyone know why Peugeot made the throw between gears so big?

Does the 180 have the same throw?

    Just curious.

The 180 is different, it uses a cable shift. It has a better feel than the normal shift used on the GTi or CC 2.0L.
