Wish I'd paid attention during my french classes.

only thing that doesnt excite me is the colour of the car

Beautiful isn't it? Same animal as the Fiat Spider, with detail changes. Pininfarina body. I think the colour suits it.

Apart from being Pininfarina bodied convertibles, they are different animals.

Still the 504 Cabrio is a beauty. Personally I prefer the Coupe though.

    Default V6 motors

Yeh the 504 coupe looks nice,
BUT those lovely V6 motors. Wow they are very nice. Where did he get them from. Untouched block, pristine pipes, glorious carbs and beut sump. No, not talking about a sexy woman but something that won't bite back being as new as those motors are.

Give half my junk err treasures for one of those motors.

Now I can dream of something nice tonight. Good site,in my favourites now.

    Mike.
    Mike,
A good guess that more than dusters and Brasso achieved the finish on those engines.
I would venture that it took a good media blast and hi temp silver paint.
My experience with Volvo [PRV6] engines was that they appeared to use two or three different alloys in their makeup. The heads, block and timing covers were all a different shade of silver and casting finish when they came in a box new.

All that aside, they do look good. The non standard anodised plumbing etc finishes it off.
What doesn't look good to me are the cheap hose clamps, the type that cut into the rubber. There are better ones about.

    Default 604 motor

    New or reco,
    Strange,
In one photo there are two as new motors. Waste to put it in a car out of sight.

I would do as in Top Gear a couple of weeks ago where they made a Porche V8 motor into a coffee table.

That V6 is just nice to look at.

Notice in the cabrio dash shot the temp gauge is a bit highish.
