Default Three white 504s near Albury

On their way to Tassy, my parents were quick enough with the camera to snap these three 504s near Albury, heading towards Melbourne. 2nd of January.

Anybody here own them? Or were they on their way to Egypt?

They are actually still manufacturing 504's in Nigeria - http://www.peugeotnigeria.com/config...c_famille=1PS2 (you will want to view this site in Firefox, as it errors out in Opera and Safari atleast).

Anybody know about the quality of these? Lets hope the quality is better than that of their website *shudder* Can't say I like the plastic trim much, and by the looks they've done something funny with the back end. Anybody have any real pictures of these 2005 model 504's?

The South Africans wanted to take over the building rights, apparantly they are built from CKD kits produced in France.
This hasn't happened but then Nigeria was supposed to have stopped making them by now.
I suppose one of the problems with supplying africa with new 504s is that people would have to then find the money to buy a new car. People who can afford to buy a new car would probably prefer one of the later models.

I've just worked out it will cost me $36,407.77 to buy an airconditioned 2 litre 504 in 'Jaune Persépolis' colour (think calf poo) - it makes a 407 look good, doesn't it!
