I was expecting it to be a lot worse

Lowered on big wheels, pretty tame really. A simple change of wheel and it'd be a really nice car. I was expecting spoilers, stickers and neons etc.

VX-1's are a particularly nasty wheel though. It would be nice if you could get a custom set of enlarged 505 STi/GTi wheels to 16/17".

I contemplated doing something similar on a nice ol' 404 with billet dished rims and a new tweed interior.....
I have seen worse, there was a thread a while back with a 505 with tints, harlequin paint, decked, chrome wheels etc! - Chris

Oh, no, don't do it! Just get the 505 hubs, huge difference.

When I was thinking about ultralight rims for my 504 coupe, I was given two options by the machine shop:

Spaces with bolts, or modifying the existing hubs to a different bolt pattern.

The spacers did not make much sense because the increase in unsprung weight negates, partially anyway, the benefit of the ultralight rim.

I will get a new bolt pattern as soon as I can source spare hubs for the coupe, as I also want to keep the original ones, well, original.

That would look great with a different set of wheels, maybe some Lenso Concept 5's or something a little less extreme.

Those venom wheels or whatever they are called have always looked pretty horrid.

    I'm a fan.

I've always had a soft spot for Oz Superturismo wheels. Swap the wheels from that 504 with the Oz's and It'd look awesome. No chrome either. Too loud for a frog of that prestige.

The second 504 pic looks like it's missing a milo tin and P-plates. What a disgrace to the Peugeot badge. 10/10 to the owner for having the courage to be seen in that in public.
