    Default 1995 405 T16

Hello, I'm new to the forum. I've been reading the posts of the forum but there's no much info on how to tune a 405 T16. I've read about T16's with up to 300hp. Pls, send me links, pics, files, everything you have about the 405 T16.

Is it true they made only about 400? there are about 7 in my country (Colombia, South America). I've only seen 5 (including mine) an none of them seem to have a special numbered chassis plate.

I'll be posting pictures soon. Thanks in advance

    cheers!

As far as I know we have none in Australia, so probably best looking at uk websites for more info.

Someone might be able to point you in the right direction though.

    Welcome to aussiefrogs!

they look exactly the same as the mi16, except with a much cooler badge, im not sure if they made them during series 1 and 1.5, ive only ever seen pictures of the series 2 body

as for the number, ive heard that only 360 were made, the minimum number to allow the car to be raced, and i think it won paris to dakkar twice or three times

i highly doubt any would exist in australia, if they did, i would buy it

have you had yours dyno tested? ive got no idea of the official figures, but i know they must be fast

They're LH drive only and are Series 2. They have the same suspension/drivetrain as the Mi16x4, but with the 2L turbo engine and 16" wheels.

I use to know of one T16 in Aus. The owner told me he knew of one other. Neither registered, and one was left LHD for sure. Was asked by the owner never to name names or locations, so you might want to add my post to "peugeot web myths". Or you can live in hope that i'm telling the truth

Thanks Peter, do you have a link for that?

I´ve tried the UK forums but I haven't found anything interesting.
Here's a picture trying to hit the 220KMH they talk in the specs.

I did'nt have enough space but I´m sure it would've reached 215 (I live 2600m above sea level!!).

This is fith gear at 5K RPM

Well, the original manual does not say anything about specs. But I've found these in different sites:

    0-100kmh: 7.2 secs
    weigth: 1150 kgs
    Top speed: 225kmh

I found a chip supplier in Argetina, son I hope this figures improve
    regards

I think they'd weigh a bit more than that, as an Mi16x4 with the alloy block, is approx. 80Kg more than the 1.9L Mi16.
