so ive been taking my Mi16 parts car apart this weekend, and ive made it into the the interior.
ive got most of the interior out, but for the life of me i cant get the speedo cable out.
its this insturment cluster that will be my key to finishing this damn project.

anyone know any tricks> or is there a sepcial tool i gotta buy, or what?

    i took pics.

Bit surprosed that no-one else has replied already. I've done this once or twice, and it is easy to break one of the lugs.

Best way I found was to use a large flat-bladed screwdriver, but to look from outside the windscreen straight down at exactly where and how it is making contact.

You will only be able to prise one lug, but I found this to be enough. Just twist the screwdriver to lever the lug off, don't poke it or jab it, and it helps to have a thirst hand to hold the cluster still.

If there are 2 of you, one prises whilst the other holds and pulls back at the same time.

    All care but no responsibility!
