    Default Engine Mounts

    hey guys,

i got a new engine mount yesterday, and ive noticed afew small things...

is it normal for the mount to "wear in" coz it currently sqweaks abit when i take of from the lights in 1st. and i also seem to have a slight shudder under heavy acceleration, nothing huge... but something worth a mention.

any i just paranoid about my mount failing on me? or is this sort of thing abit normal?

    Paul.

Its happened to me once, I quickly took it back to the mechanics and got it fixed. Can't remember the reason for it happening though.

My symptoms were when accelerating from 1st, or especially in reverse I would hear/feel a slight thud from the accelerator pedal. I didn't have shudders or squeaks though.

yeah, i got it fixed today.

something about a small thin metal plate that had split, and was causing alot of noise.

    all good. problem solved.
