I'm after some suggestions about how to deaden the diesel noise in the cabin.

Do any of you have friends or acquaintences who might have solved this problem cheaply? eg carpet under the seats? any other material?

Suffer'n succatash Silvester, aspestos. That $H!ts banned.

I think it is rock wool or similar.

Black Jack, with jute fibre or the "Orminoid" car sound deadening.

I hear concrete or several feet of water works well. TIC

sell on line and at their stores a DIY sound deadning product (search on their site for sound deadener) that actually works VERY well. I used to use it on competition car stereos and is very easy to install. - Chris
