    Default 2 Tone Pugs?

    hey guys,

this might offend some Pug purists, but im just throwing some ideas around as the front of my car is STILL black... (long story there). but in my travels, many people i know keep saying that the like the black air dam on my car.

now folks, what are your thoughts on 2Tone pugs? because im playing around in photoshop currently, with a Red/Black theme. then "powder coating" the stockie rims, until i can afford a decent set. and i think it doesnt look too bad.

if you saw a 2Tone Mi16 whizzing down the street, what would be your initial reaction?

ill post some images up abit later when i have the time.
    Cheers guys.

    Paul.

Err... That looks much better on the new golf...?

Nah, do it Paul. It would look nuts. If you just did the skirts, back bumper and wheels you would get serious respect in Box Hill...

Seriously, i actually think it could look tough.

Perhaps if you were doing that much black it might be an idea to break it up by polishing the wheel lip?

I think you could be well onto something Paul, Black would go well with the red and you could even try with a singl thick stripe down the bonnet and roofline too. The wheels would come up well too methinks, just look at alex's gti6 stockies when they're painted black!

Yeah I saw a Silver on Grey one this morning - looked real good, Im not sure what the blue colour would look like?

These days barely any cars are Two tone - probably the last "mass market" cars with two tone would be the last shape Camry and the Avalon Grande?

Also not convinced.... Cherry red with a nice finishing polish and you have a fully sick car.

yeah id agree with that - black is too dark.

I always thought the mi16 could look pretty good in a two tone paint like those used on the VL calais and berliners.

    I think they had a metallic maroon/silver or a metallic dark blue/silver.

needs to be metallic top and bottom though, otherwise it'll look cheap and shoddy.
