    Default Peugeot 406 running problems

    My 406 is a 1997 2.0l 16 valve petrol model with Bosch MP5.2 ecu.

It runs very rich especially it seems when the weather is hot.

    Can anyone help please?

    I have replaced:
    coil pack
    lambda sensor
    cat
    plugs

    Default Re: Engine running rich

Have you tried changing the temperature coolant sensor - it is the green one on the thermostat housing. It gives the ecu info about the engine temp, and the ecu adjusts the mixture accordingly. They are 16.40 at a peugeot dealership.
