    goodbye to the 306

the new 307s are coming in, and whilst they do look nifty, and the 306 was getting on, is anyone else sad to see that nicer more angular look gone forever? i know the 406 sorta still looks like the older gen pugs, but i am sad to see the hatches rounded forever. oh well, maybe introduction of a new model will cause 306 prices to drop considerably so i can buy one!

I know what you mean Nick. The Pugs of the 90s (306/406) really looked great.

I think the 206 looks good, but not quite in the same way as the previous Pugs -- it has more of a 'cute' look, rather than an understated elegance like the 306/406.

The 307 looks the goods from most angles, but I'm left wondering about the bonnet/headlights area -- a bit too big/'fat' IMO, it doesn't look as happy and cheerful as the 206 does.

The interior of the 307 is definitely much nicer though.

You put it perfectly rek! From what i've read, the build quality on the 307 is really good, and on another level to previous 306/205 etc. I suppose it won't be too long until we see a 407, and the new 607 is following the rounder design look. It's a pity we don't get 106s in Aus, because the 106 GTi looks great and handles well, like all good pugs, in a good little commuter package. Well as I said, hopefully next year 306s will drop in price and I might be able to stretch to an S16 (with my old man's help!), fingers crossed.

well they'll be bringing out the 107 in a few years...and also the 807.

oh yeah, Nick, you should be able to find an S16 in the low teens.

p.s i want to keep the 405 now

If the 407 CG image that was posted on here a while ago is anything to go by the 407 should be quite good. It seems like it will follow the current Mondeo/Passat/New Vectra/A4 design trend.

damnn............now that the 307 is out...i guess my 306 will be worth peanuts now.
I guess the 306s r catching up on their age.
Anyways, i still love the lines of me ride though, but a swap of the 307 interior will be sweet. Can't wait to see my car get done up very very soon.

let me revive the poise of the 306!!! huaahuaha

P.S. how's your bonnet mate?? i love that lancia vent. ahauahuaha

    cheers

    you mean this one?

I really like this one too

(it's the only picture that comes up (in about 30 different sizes) looking for "peugeot 407" in Google image search)
