    Icon8 MI16 ignition problems

    Help!!!! I've got a 1993 405 MI16 and I cant get a spark out of it.
I've changed the ignition module, and coil, the wiring looks good and the distributer looks good as well. Anyone any ideas?

    I. Sounds like a short or open circuit somewhere start by checking for movement of the needle of a dwell gauge connected to the low tension side of the coil this will tell you if you have a problem with the low voltage of the HT side of the ignition system. Q was the replacement coil fitted a new or known working item????????????? Have both coils checked by a auto electrician! Failing that get them to look at the cars wiring!
Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten!

Cheers for the advice. However I was told to check the crankshaft sensor aswell, and it had been hit by somthing and had a big cut in it!!! Changed that and away she went. Well pleased now!
