Hi all, sorry but another question, I seem to have to top up my water/coolant quite often and wondered if there could be a problem causing this. the car runs fine but I'm just a little concerned.

What is the condition of your radiator cap?
And, please, no apologies for asking questions, that's what the forum is for, to help fellow pug owners,.............. it is a pug............isn't it?.........great, what model, cool, what year is it? excellent!

relax, just kidding around. can' begin to answer unless you know more details. one more question, is the car overheating?
if there are no obvious signs of leakage then I'd suspect the radiator cap is getting tired.
my 405 has always used up a bit of coolant. over 10,000k (between services) it would probably use up 250 ml. Not much, and has always done it.
When I had to replace the cap about three years ago, it would often dump a bit just after parking it.
I would assume radiator caps are like thermostats and should be changed every 4 years

no big concern unless you overheat.
also take care on long runs and check it evey time you stop.
overheating can cause BIG problems .especially if you cook it.-BAZZ
