    Default the back lit lighty thing where the pic of my car usually is..

    it blew up well it doesn't light up anymore. did i blow a fuse somewhere? oh gosh im so clueless haha

    you know the backlit controller thing where the temp controls are.. just under the cd player

    If it's the air con screen down low or the multifunction display up high that you mean, there are 2 or 3 (can't remember exactly) individual globes on the back of it that have probably blown. Don't let a dealer tell you they need to replace the panel until they have at least checked these globes!

    It's really a simple procedure, but there are a few centre dash bits that have to be removed, and therefore you need a Torx screwdriver or two.

    As per usual with 206 stuff, the whole job is described here on 206gti.net:

    How to Change your Air-Con lights

    I've changed a globe in the lower panel - it was quite easy (unless you are scared of removing the dash like some C2 drivers are here )

    I can only stress that if you are not comfortable doing this (or don't own any Torx screwdrivers) then you let someone else do it for you.
