The annual general meeting for the Canterbury Peugeot club will be held on Wednesday August 3rd in the Sydenham Community centre in Hutcheson St at 7:30pm.

Strange isn't it dave. Peugeots are much more popular in NZ than ozzie however club numbers over here are poor to say the least. I'm trying to inject more blood into the auckland one.

    Good luck

Are New Zealanders joiners of clubs?

    Victorians are.

South Australians, less so it seems.

How do the numbers in NSW & QLD equate to VIC?

It could simply be a matter of courses for horses.

Having established if it be so, to discover the reason why would be valuable.

You need to have plenty of well run activities, sporting, touring and social.

    Default Car clubs

We had low numbers in Perth the decided to do a swat (strengths weaknesses threats and oppportunities) analysis and we went from in the 30s to the 70s.

People were given jobs to do and we had new blood come in. See pccwa.org.wa for the efforts of XTC as a good example of what a new member achieved for our club.

My view is that we have to use business planning for clubs to succeed and for a time our club was in the doom and gloom ie all clubs are going backwards mode, theres nothing can be done about it etc.

We proved that things can be changed.

Hope that this will happen in NZ as you have great roads, scenery and Peugeots, what a combination.

If you need to see an example of the SWAT email me and I can send something to you. If you remember Wigram I used to be there.
