Not to disrespect to your plates, like the INDY template.

Hopefully we dont see any/many 180s with the typical ricer/hoon plates :-

There was a GTI kicking around here with the plates FLY GTI It had all the bling 17" rims, lexus tail lights and big WRC style wing on it to match.
Murray : And there are flames coming from the back of Prost's car as he enters the swimming pool!
James Hunt: Well that should put them out then!

Well Done!! I was lucky to get Victorian black and white plates GTI-205 for my 205 GTI about 4 years ago. I was stunned - I didn't think they would be available and now of course - they're not!!!

You didn'thappen to be the guy that was harrassed by my old man at Winton last Sunday by any chance do you? He mentioned he spoke to someone with a 205 with GTI205 plates. He also lives in Wodonga.

    cheers

Yep, That'd be me!! Harrased is a bit strong tho! He mentioned something about a 405 Mi16 also. I'm not really from Wodonga - on a property in the Kiewa Valley and the Wodonga thing is dictated by the farm address.
Don' have a spare M16 engine laying around do you?
    Cheers
    David.

Yeah he just likes to talk to people a lot. He has my old Mi16 as his daily now. I wanna buy it back so badly!! He's also got a 2L 406. Sorry don't have spare motor but my old POS motor is probably rusting away somewhere at BM spares. You really don't want that one!! Gotta love the kiewa valley got a few friends that live/lived up there.

    cheers

Not sure what POS means?? Familiar with BM Spares out Dande way and contributed to their profits considerable over the years! (BM man too - 3 in the family). Also a Renault family as well - son drive my wife's old 20TS (300,000 plus Ks) plus a wreck in the shed for spares. Starting to think I'm bit of a French Feral!! Yes there are worse places to live than the Kiewa.

Haha. It is usually a TLA (three letter acronym), with the first two words being Piece Of...

A term of endearment most likely.

No, I don't think your plates are ricey at all. Definitely refined.

The tail lights on the other hand...

True. I have this thing where I hate blue and red together, unless the red looks metallic. I like silver and blue together which is why I thought the clear lights would look nice.

When I got my car I had the choice of the Diablo Red or the China Blue for immediate delivery. I'll admit the way the tail lights integrated with the Diablo Red was pretty much the deciding factor. Oh and Red cars go faster too!
