Default engine mounts mi16 - buggered?

    Hi guys,

I need to know if this is normal... My top right engine mount on my mi16 has the 'middle bit' completely loose. When I say the 'middle bit' i mean the fat square stalk of rubber that goes through the mounting point that runs off the engine. This stalk has broken off, ie i would be able to pull it out if there was enough room. The rest of the mount seems to rest on the other rubber bits below and to the side. Is my engine mount stuffed?

    thanks in advance,
    Greg

    Absolutely stuffed.

I'm getting a new one made at Noltec later this week if you're interested. They use the two broken halves to build a new one in urethane. They're a bit stiffer than std. but will take more abuse. Cost is approx. $100.

thanks for the advice peter. as for the urethrane mount i'll see how much a standard on is my feeling is i can probably get 2 or more for $100 so probably can't justify it.
