Stocko Gti138 rim weight

does anyone the stocko weight of the 16" rim that comes on the Gti138's? coz id like to get lightweight 17's but there is no point if the 16's are already lighter...

One of the lightest ever 17" rim that is compatable with a 206 is the Genuine Peugeot 206GTi180 rim ... at 8.39kg they are light. Yes there is lighter, but most are not 206 compatable and the OZ ones that are, only the white version is lighter.

I think the gold superT's are lighter again (not by much though).

For such a marginal difference in weight, you may as well just go straight for the magnesium ones

In the end you could buy an OZ rim that's 1kg lighter and end up unknowingly buying a tyre thats 1kg heavier...

my mates new rims (only 16's though) are 3.6kg each on his GTi-R...but having a rare stud pattern/pcd it would be quite hard to find decent wheels...
