    Hahahaha. I saw that!

Mind you, going on my money situation I kinda hope I don't have the winning bid for the G3 Powerbook I found....

Are they sending it in a bomb proof package or something

Last time I checked, the stamp to post a phonecard shouldn't really cost too much more than 50c

Can you withdraw bids on eBay?

You can, but only before completion of the auction. It is seriously frowned upon though, and not a good way to get good feedback. I do not let anyone back out of an auction I have listed.

Some people are terrible - you have to ring them and hassle them to get the money out of them.

A bit like the time I entered an online joke competition. The prizes were one of an assortment of fans and CPU coolers for computers.

I ended up winning the first week and got the cheapest prize, a $16 fan. Problem was that the package was coming from Sweden and it cost $15 postage + $3 transfer fee...ow well, at least I can say I won something
