    206gti or clio sport???????????

Hi all, currently I own a 205gti and through work have now a need for a company car. I have been looking at either a Clio sport or the 206gti and would like to hear responses from current owners of either or people who know more about the two.

    Cheers

    Neil

Well, I don't have any experience with either but I do know that Peugeot is updating the GTi soonish by upgrading power to 133kw. Would be worth the wait if you can.

Someone, I once wrote, in the bowels of Peugeot understands handling and how a chassis should feel." - Jeremy Clarkson

I am a far stronger Peugeot supporter than Renault, don't get me wrong buuuttt.

Assuming you can only get the Clio RS or the normal 100kW 206, go for the Clio.

The current 206s performance is dissappointing, they both handle really well and the Clio just has that sligh edge, 0-100k in less than 7 seconds, plus I actually think the Clio looks slightly better.

Then again, compare the 307 to the Clio and I'd defintely got the 307

If your ego responds to strangers walking up to you in the street and wanting to talk about the your car then go a 206GTi.

I remember doing it to a guy whilst visiting New Caledonia probably 1 year before we got the model in Australia and asking him about it. Pity he didn't speak english nor me french.

The Clio is a great car no doubt but what drugs were the designers on?
