There is a index of some interesting Pug webpages at:

The 504 and 505 Dangel 4X4 pages have some particularly good pictures, which I haven't found anywhere elses (click on the pics to get larger pics of them) you can see all the details of how they modified the front suspension, etc. It's fantastic:

    Dave,

Must of missed this post thanks for the bump wink

Bloody brilliant, I've only ever seen one in the flesh in New Caladonia, given the fact that most 504's would out distance any modern four wheel drive, 'on their own turf', these machines must be all but un-stopable.

Plenty of reading to keep me up late whip top post wink

    Cheers
    Chris

The Déesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Déesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.

Funny you should say that Alan, in one of my dumb momements of weakness I purchased a ID Safari that had been used as a tourist bus on Brampton Island, needless to say on closer inspection the poor beast was a rusted hulk have pics somewhere? the thing was painted up with bamboo text, very sad and undignified moon

(Sorry to hijack your post Dave)

    Cheers

I like the way they've used standard suspension links in that first front end pic...
