I prefer this one... and it's a more logical line of progression...

Ok Ray, you've got my interest. What's that - is that the model they call the Darl'Mat or something?

Fabulous - there's one at the museum at Le Mans if I remember correctly, or something very similar. There's something about late 1930s curves. There was quite a good article about them in Classic and Sports Car about a year ago or thereabouts.

I've no idea... but I'd like to have a crack at a modern power unit and running gear under a fibreglass replica of this bodywork.

    Hello!!

I confirm that once a man in France(but not Peugeot!)has built a replica of the 402 Darlmat with a 505 4cylinders turbo engine in it:
    140 bhp, more than 200km/h(125miles/h)...

But unfortuneately, I don't know how much examples had been built/sold, and I have no more info about this roadster(it was only the roofless models, not the coupés)... wink
    Pugs are fantastic cars!!

I can only say that the man had great taste... but look at this rear view of the coupe... I've not seen it before, it's simply... well... very different!

    Ever seen anything like that?

Can you find out more, Tompug?

I agree that a replica would be great.
I reckon a fibreglass Oxia with 406 V6 clip stuck in the baxk would be great too
And how about a fibreglass 403 cabrio to fit 404/504/505 guts?
